She wanted to inform me that if I was listening to the Belize Weather Service that the information was wrong. According to the BWS, the highest gust we have experienced is 45-50 mph, the folks at Tropic offices figures it at 60-65 mph. BWS also says the storm is way north of us and that the eye will pass somewhere over Mexico (they must mean Mexico Rocks).

I think we are better than the weather service and told her so. Also told her we're holding up and not moving to Tropic Offices quite yet.

Winds have definitely picked up! Don't think I'll be venturing out any time soon.

Talked with brother on SP about 2:20 pm. He said that the winds were howling,
seemed that rekoning from wind direction, the eye was due east or just
slightly north of them. Little apparent tide surge.
