Before you go to Tranquility Bay you may want to do a little shopping.It is very remote and far from town,so bring some food beverages,snacks,mosquito repellent.You will not want to go to town once you arrive there.
And Caye Casa was a good pick

Our last trip down, we stayed 2 nights in town, then 5 up at Tranquility Bay. We love the town of San Pedro, so that gave us some time to wander around and visit our favorite bars and restaurants. I am so glad we finished up our trip at Tranquility Bay...it is absolutely wonderful. What a great way to relax and end your vacation! You will love it at TBR, guaranteed. Even the boat ride up there is pretty. And once you get there, you will think you are in heaven. You can walk right out your door and you're on the beach. You can snorkel right from shore, and the diving is incredible. You can walk for miles on the beach and enjoy the quiet and beauty. Have fun.
