Pulled out my small cask of One Barrel Rum that I purchased while on AC in February and found it empty! I am positive that it was full when I lovingly lugged it home in my carry-on baggage. Anyone have a problem with their's evaporating? Should I grill my teenage boys (and their friends)again?

My friend's started dripping out in the overhead rack on the trip home. That was fun.

Hold off grilling teenagers until they are thoroughly marinated. Otherwise, too much sporting activity can leave them tough and stringy.

I wrapped my cane juice in zip lock baggie and it got home just fine. Before I put it in the baggie, I put it inside a sock for double protection. No leaks, no problems.

From the sock or the baggie? Jeeeeez, I'm not real nuts about an adult beverage that either leaks, evaporates, or turns to syrup. I think the idea would be to drink the stuff BEFORE you leave the island, and consider it another overwhelming reason to return. As soon as possible. Without socks or baggies.

I'll try this One Barrel concoction next trip and give a full report. I suppose it's brown, huh? Shucks.

Actually it is the adult that either leaks, evaporates or turns to syrup AFTER they have drank the beverage!

I hope my boys have not been marinating in my One Barrel! Grrr.

Thanks for all your replys!

Hey Cold I C.

TOUCHE on the drinker leaking, evaporating etc.

I brought back a large bottle of One Barrel and it did fine. I never thought of it leaking. The only leaking it is doing is in my mouth. Rum, a wonderful invention. I am trying it out on a few of my friends only to convince them to return with me to obtain more it.

Enjoy
