Just received cell phone call from Chris Berlin. They are all ok. Rode out storm in Lupke's bodega. Not sure who all was there, phone connection was not good enough for details. Basic house stuctures ok, broken windows and water inside. San Pedro airport runway dry, but boat sitting in middle runway---sure that will be moved soon. Boats are strung around, boat houses down on back side. They will try to call again later with more details.

Stan & Phyllis:

Great news! Did Chris happen to mention the condition of the Luepke house directly in front of the bodega?

any word on the people staying at Banyan Bay villas? My mother shelley trifone and grandmother Berta Hoy(Astle) were supposed to have gone there for shelter. I heard that Banyan Bay did sustain some damage and like everyone else I am very concerned. thanks for any info.

Your mom and Tia Berts are fine. Mike is on his way out in a big boat with friends. Please e-mail me for more info.

Any further word on folks at tres cocos would be most appreciated. Latest message from Cris Berlin said they were "all" OK, but don't know who "all" refers to. Any word about Doug and Ali Campbell? How about others, like Mary Hawthorne? How did their homes fare? How did our home fare? What do they need me to bring down in the way of Stuff? Would they advise I come sooner than Oct 15th? Ali's Dad also ready to come down to help. Lotsa questions... ANY answers would be MOST appreciated!!

I am trying to get word on my wife Lori Purdy. Has anyone talked to the folks at Tres Cocos. She was most likely riding this out with Bento "Bob C'Debaca" or Doug and Aly.

I am in Europe and the news has been awful.

I love you Lori and hope you are OK.
