This is an old thread, but if you’re still looking, keep it super practical. Ask your property manager, concierge, or any local expat family group for a couple sitter names, then pick based on toddler experience and real references, not just vibes.

Do a quick meet and run through basics like snacks, nap time, and safety rules, then start with a shorter first shift to see how they handle both kids. I used Go Au Pair for a longer setup and the main lesson was clear routines beat everything, even for a couple hours a day.

If it already looks run down, assume special assessments are coming. I’d want the HOA financials before even thinking about it.
