Wow if this isn't a blast from the past. Looks like the forum is a lot quieter than it used to be. Ambergris Caye was the first place I traveled to that I really fell in love with. I loved the quiet streets at that time, the fact that it was still a bit under the radar, and most of all, I love how it made me feel when I was there. I was obsessed with Belize for years, and spent almost all of my vacations there for a long time. Then I traveled more, the world opened up, and I found other places. A cousin of mine just got back from Belize, though staying in Placencia, and it put Belize back on my mind again. I'd like to go back to Ambergris Caye just to see all of the change, but I'd probably want to spend a lot more time on the mainland now. Hope everyone on the island is doing well.

Wow...has it really been 20+ years since I was on here last? I feel like Rumpelstiltskin! I am meeting BC and Mad Dog for dinner this Friday and it prompted me to come back here and look around.
First off - I wanna say Congrats to Marty for this here message board - you have certainly created a long-lived and valuable platform! I salute you, sir!
