CODFATHER-Please tell me, send me an email (if you click on my profile you can email me directly) and let me know if you had some bad experience with Belizeans. Do you enjoy Belize and are you ever going back? I haven't read any of your other posts so fill me in. I am confused as to my statement being BS. Everyone there has done a lot more for me than almost any American has. You mentioned my comment was BS but seems I get screwed by Americans quite often and many priorities here are MONEY MONEY, AND MONEY...not family nor other important things. (not saying I dislike americans, I am one!) There have been times Belizeans won't except my money, as they are just doing a favor that someone here where I live would never think of doing. I have endless stories of things people have done for me there that always shock me in the best way! I remember one day at the park I only had a $50 bill, the lady had no change and I told her I'd go get smaller bills in my room. This Belizean man said NO-I will pay her for you-and he did. He did not flirt with me or want anything. I said I'd be right back as my hotel was close and I wanted to pay him back. I returned in less than 10 minutes and he was gone. The lady said he left as he didn't want me to pay him back. These small things happen all the time, and the big things they've done for me would take up this whole page.
