We had some pretty heavy rains around 4, which flooded much of the roads (there's one pot hole in front of Island Academy that came very close to eating my golf cart.)
The waves are really up right now at the beach and are getting close to the highest I've seen all day. There are fewer breaks between big sets as well. The biggest ones are pushing the water within 10 or so feet of my place which, next to Wally's house is one of the highest points up to the cut. As SIN said Boca Del Rio is now pretty much under water with 1 to 3" of water. Boca del Rio park goes fully underwater at times.
Winds are probably 20-30K offshore right now. Wave heights in shore seem to be pushing up close to 4' at times.
But, we're all in good shape and everyone is in good spirits. I'll be in even better spirits when my Pepperoni's Pizza arrives (thanks for being open guys) accompanied by a frosty Belikin of course.
The pictures posted of Caye Caulker give a good idea of the beach from Wet Willy's North.
