TACA has had 0 fatalities in 250,000 flights giving them a perfect A rating. However, it is hard to compare them to some of the American airliners because the number of flights is so much smaller. Southwest for example has 0 fatalities in 9.5 million flights. Also there are some other scoring systems out there that incorporate non-fatal incidents and near misses in the rating that might give a clearer picture on safety...
