Scuttlebutt is US Southern Command, previously based in Panama and now in Homestead, Florida, will have a huge office at the new US Embassy complex in Belmopan, slated for completion Nov 2006. Former commanders of US Southern command have been presidential candidate Wesley Clark, and drug czar Barry Cafferty.
