My understanding is that you can get a letter but it's on a case by case basis and I'm sure you can appreciate the bureaucracy here makes it a real pain in the butt to accomplish. You can contact saga@btl.net and ask them to send you a letter indicating that the items are donated and not for resale but it won't be anything official.
