I remember a couple years ago when the Chinese Circus came to town, Everyone was so excited to go see them. Everyone kept talking about the small asian people who could fold themselves in half and spin stuff on sticks.

I think we will get excited to see anything that comes to town (animals or not)because we don't have much else in the way of entertainment.

I won't be going to the circus either, here or anywhere else, but thats also my personal opinion.
