well, I guess for all who are interested, it appears that this dog, whos name is Ranger, was set to fend for himself when his owners discuvered he had dermatitis, and required medication to the sum of $120/mo.
his injuries were severe, and one wound was festering.
Rangers owners were found, as were 2 parties interested in adopting. All parties decided euthanasia was the choice.
some people, including myself, have donated monies to SAGA in Rangers name to help pay for his care.

I would like to believe that a loving arm was around him at the time he left this world.
