You can get a variety of US brands at Duty Free at your layover airport...Be it Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, and for about $3.00 CA per pack! Just show your ticket and passport at the cashier station. One carton per person and one liter of liquor is the law. You can't buy at duty free in Belize once you clear customs and immigration unless you have a stateside ticket for that day. You do go back through security for your flight to SP or where ever and duty free is there. It's possible that the clerk will only ask for your passport and sell to you right there. They are not supposed to but hey...Things are looser there than Canada. I live in BC. I'd kill for a carton of Kool Longs right now. But, ceste la vie...Number 7 menthols are my only choice.
