Well, you can go to bars to meet people if they are the kind of people you want to meet. OR - you can attend some of the civic organizations and meet the people who are joining together to help with various aspects of growth and development.
If you have a business I urge you to join the San Pedro Business Association. Great mixed group of people with one object - taking care of business.
The Chamber Of Commerce meets every Thursday at noon at the Blue Water Grill. Anyone can come and/or join. I joined because of their civic activity.
The north has had a very active neighborhood watch for many years. The other sub divisions are now reforming their groups. Jules Escalante is the president of the one for your area. I can't think of a better way to get to know your neighbors than joining with them. The N.W's meet once a month.
Then - there is always church. The island has a full range of religious services.
Any of these options are open to you. Think about what kind of people you want to meet and be friends with. There is something for everyone here.
WELCOME
