The solution I think I suggested is long term, granted, but has benefits for you wherever you are. Not for VoIP, because most countries control their ISPs and aren't controlled by them so you don't need help to connect, but for general internet control and security. When you're using your computer at an airport, for example, do you realise just how easy it is for people to see EXACTLY what you're doing on the internet? The solution I suggested is proof against that, and actually one of the best solutions.
