I was a lurker on another board when someone posted that they hated when people called each other by pet names like Hon, Sweetie and the like. As some of you are aware, it's highly likely that I am the contrarian that I am suspected of being, so that asinine statement was my cue to immediately choose Hon as my board name there and I've used it where it was available ever since.
