Amanda was right...I'm talking about work permits and residency issues. I've never had problems at any border stations. I'm referring to the office at the coffee shop. The only problem I've ever had at the border was that they only gave me 5 days on a stamp, claiming that it was all they could do. My attempt to show them my nearly filled passport with plenty of border station stamps giving 30 day extensions didn't seem to persuade them.
