If a wild baby animal is orphaned, it should not be raised as a pet but handed over to the Forestry Department, as required by law, who can arrange for it to go to a rehabilitation centre. People who poach wildlife in Belize, whether monkies, birds, iguanas or any other animals are stealing the wildlife from the future of Belizean children.
