CollyK - I know you live here and respect your informative posts. The only difference I would have is about interaction with the marine life. I too believe in not harassing any animal. However, the petting of sharks and sting rays seems to not harass them. The guides know how to approach the animals and then hand them off to guests. When a guest struggles with one of these then it is harassing. I have mixed feelings about the chumming since so many fishermen clean their catches and toss the scraps to the waiting fish and birds what is the difference in tour guides useing scraps to attract the fish? I open on this topic.

I do think the guides should give a little more information while still on the boat about what they are going to do and what to expect and what to not do.
