We have traveled a lot to the Riveria Maya/ Akumal area where there is decent beach snorkeling and we want to try Belize. Are there any resorts where you can snorkel from shore and see some fish and reef? I have a hard time in boats.....but can do then if it is a small group or a private charter. We like to snorkel as much as possible since we do some high def underwater video taping as a hobby. In Åkumal we would go 4-5 times a day so we could see a variety of sea life.

Coconuts Caribbean Hotel
Mata Rocks Resort
