"What a marvelous coincidence - two days after Concord's trust-funders vote in Town Meeting to ban sales of bottled water in their la-de-da town, suddenly there's a water main break, and people are swarming supermarkets across the region desperately seeking bottled water http://pqasb.pqarchiver.com/bostonherald/access/2025628331.html?FMT=ABS&FMTS=ABS:FT&date=May+5%2C+2010&author=HOWIE+CARR&pub=Boston+Herald&edition=&startpage=6&desc=Bottle-battling+moonbats+drink+up+too"
There is probaby just as much bottled water in Concord today as there ever was. The bottled water now has to be bought outside the city limits and it is. Some residents of Concord feel real good that they have made a statement but this is about all that has changed, so far. In the emergency talked about above in the archives of the Boston Herald, without the bottled water they would have had no drinking water for several days.
There are pluses and minuses to every situation and some times the circumstances change quickly.
