a good rule of thumb is LOCAL VS IMPORTED. The duty tax is very high in Belize so anything you are drinking that has to come from US or Canada or EU is going to be much higher that anything you buy made here in Belize. Local beer and local rums will be the cheapest. They also now have a local vodka and some other liquors that you can try. I have had mixed reviews on the local vodka, Belizeans HATE it but I've had ex-pats and tourists say it is good. If you are mixing it in something like a bloody mary you aren't going to taste much of the vodka anyway.
