I've been checking out the various mainland activities and I'm curious as to the type of boat used from AC to the mainland. Does it take as long as the ferry from the airport? The tours sound great but we don't want to be sitting in a boat for hours to get to/from. Is flying an option?

Looking at Lamanai, Altun Ha, cave tubing; will be booking through our resort, prefer guided tours to a DIY tour.
