Thanks to a friend we use http://www.tsunami.gov/ for as close to facts as we can get. The warning for the Belize Cayes & Coast in message #2 was clear that the Tsunami surges would be between .03 to 1 meter above the tide..... That is just about 3ft. .... Unless I misunderstood the message I'm pretty sure were most safe....
