Present Condition: Seasonably hot and hazy conditions prevail with an increase in moisture expected today. Little hazy in San Pedro, not much left. Basically sunny and windy.

A small craft caution is in effect ocassionally rough seas, especially in large easterly waves.

Strong thunderstorm watch:- There is the high possibility for strong thunderstorms with dangerous lightning, strong winds and heavy rainfall could develop over inland areas this afternoon.

Heat alert:- Residents, especially inland, are advised to stay hydrated and avoid outdoor activity as much as possible.

24hr Forecast: Mostly sunny and hazy at first with skies becoming cloudy at times as a few thunderstorms and showers develop inland this afternoon. Then a few showers and thunderstorms will affect mostly southern areas tonight and spread to most places tomorrow.

Outlook: A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop around the country, but especially over the south for Thursday afternoon through midday Friday.
