We own one of the TMM boats and have made the trip five time so far. We have learned much from asking questions of anyone at TMM. Since we have been sailing in the same area so many time we have slowed our pace and taken in a little more of the island before setting sail. It all depends on what you would like to experience and how much time you have. I like to do my own provisioning which entails renting a golf cart and going to several different places. If you have the golf cart long enough you can do some site seeing and lunch at Sweet Basils Cafe across the cut. We also like to do the Hol Chan trip before sailing incase we are pressed for time at the end of our week.
