Sam's club sells an AT&T calling card that charges you 35 cents a minute to call the States from Belize and 25 cents US to Belize. When you buy it call the customer service number and get directions on how to use it from Belize. That is the cheapest I have heard of. The cell phone is out unless you get one of those very expensive systems - Iridium? Not a vacation solution. It is my understanding the folks using cell phones on Ambergris caye are calling with in the country. We just use email while we are in Belize. I can say I really enjoy the phone not ringing.
