kippe, my understanding of the suggestion was that, "elsewhere" meant to move your questions to the General Chat portion instead of just the About Ambergris Caye portion of the board.
Seems to me there are enough live-in-SanPedrano's that post here that seem to know a lot about the place, you should have been able to get an answer or two. That said, why don't you just ask them over a Beliken at the Palapa Bar on a Sunday or at Fido's on another day?
Wouldn't people like the editors of the two newspapers, Mayor Paz, or Tom V. have some of these answers or be able to direct you?
