La Perla del Caribe is a collection of five (if I recall correctly), 4,000+ sq. ft. villas under construction about half a mile north of Mata Chica. There's going to be a pool and other amenities. Nadia and Phillippe of Mata Chica are doing them. I think they're supposed to be finished around March. They look fabulous. I don't know if the details are set yet, but they'll apparently go for around US$500 a day, maybe more. I think they'll be hugely successful.
