woo Hoo! I can finally add to this post! We just got back and stayed at Xanadu. DEFINITELY THE BEST PLACE!!!!!! It was perfect! Far enough from town for us to feel that we had privacy, but close enough to walk to bike in to get something to eat. The pool is beautiful- we spent a lot of time veggie and I fel in love with their hammock. Each night when we got back from dinner or drinks we went for a swim... just floating looking up at the moon. Perfect. Our room was big and clean. We had everything we needed and the shower was huge so we could both fit in there.... added bonus! The people at Xanadu were so helpful and organized all our tours and trips. I really don't have one bad thing to say about it.
We walked around Ramon's and ate there- it is better is you are looking to be 'in' the action. When we were there there were a lot of people following some singer- sang the same song loudly over and over (sorry if you are here!). People were constantly crossing in front of the resort on the beach too... less down at Xanadu. And the dive shop kind of blocked the view at Ramon's. Our favorite part of the day was first thing in the morning at Xanadu- we made coffee (each room ahs a full kitchen) and walked down to the end of the pier (dock?) to sit and wake up. There was no one around.
