Anyone know how wide the bridge is suppossed to be? Wide enough for golf carts to run both ways at the same time? Big enough for construction vehicles to cross to deliver supplies up north? Even if the bridge supported construction vehicles, it doesn't seem to me they could make it on the existing cart path beyond the bridge.

I think it might still be a safe bet. January being only 30 days away and all. Pilings going in, doesn't equate to "operational", does it?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but in mid November we picked up a hitchhiker named Jerry in our golf cart just after crossing on the ferry going north. According to Jerry, due to poor construction, the bridge won't last very long. I think he said something about them using untreated iron. He was a very nice guy and a wealth of information. Too bad about the bridge and all.

Wears a cowboy hat? The bridge is made from hot dipped galvanized steel. I know that this is a borderline third world country but I'm betting the engineers know a thing or two more about building bridges than Jerry does.

Why not have as many as we want, it will be a mute subject in a month or so, when finished, and we can move onto new topics, concerning future development of North.
Let controlled progress begin in the North, Notice the caps for North, a new city
How about a new topic to come up with a new name for the new city, North.
