steve... chuckled me good on the corona freeway...

also... looking forward to a market and a marina up north.... heard of some master development plans that are quite detailed. look well thought out. also got a map of the 83 original land grants when the island divided up. with a list of each family and a map of who got each plot. old meets new.

thanks to Melissa for joggin my brain on these bridge details and for the pic of the bridge taken from plans. these are terra firma.

total width: 24ft.

It'll be two way. 2-7ft wide lanes for golf carts/vehicles and 2-5ft. wide lanes for bikes and pedestrians.

Bridge Update
The bridge is progressing rapidly and the completion date of January 31st is still very possible. There will not be a booth in the middle of the bridge as was previously stated. However, there will be posts placed in the middle so as not to allow any large vehicles over. The posts will be removable to allow vehicles across in case of fire or medical emergencies. There will be two lanes for golf carts and two lanes for pedestrians. This will end the long delays that occur during busy times of the day.

Thanks Marty for update.
Long time coming. Main structure is supposed to be in south SP, and ready to bolt to the rest, from my contacts.
Would like to know grand opening, dedication, want to go for it.
Happy Camper.

In my experience, 'still very possible' is construction-speak for 'not gonna happen, but, you know, anything is possible'.

So... wasn't there money down on Jan 1 '05? What's the score there? Do tell.

Let's call it guardedly optimistic of all things construction. :-)

But what about the bet SIN? Was there a re-structuring? Double or nothin on Feb 1? I should say here that I don't particularly care which way it goes, I'm just curious about all that money!
