Good one Hon. Being half Italian, i hear ya. However, i take no umbrage with being called stugotz. Stunad is a different story....

While in Italy 2 years ago in a bus along the Amalfi Coast the bus driver was disgusted with other drivers and said what sounded like ear-ah-brootz-ah (phonetically) - any ideas what that means?

stugatz: I don't know what 'stunad' means. None of my relatives has ever called me this. I'm guessing that is a good thing

doggums: Bruta means ugly so if you got it almost right, literally it would mean 'you're ugly'. Could it have been puzza (poot-za)? Because then it would be very emphatically 'you stink'!
