Looks like service to BZE on Tuesdays in July is safe. Good for you! Enjoy.
I will have a Belikin -- put it on klcman's tab.

otteralum, had a similar experience with US Air several weeks ago. we were booked on a flight to Belize from Chicago thru Charlotte, and when i called to reconfirm about 6 weeks prior to travel, i was told they no longer were offering flights on the days we were traveling. we ended up having to cancel our trip, since we couldn't add an extra day on each end. good thing i checked because i am not sure if or when they were planning to notify us. As Barb says, it's a big (read good) USAir sale to be purchased with CC and crossed fingers. Denver? MSP? Alabama? The topic is a USAir sale...
Re 6/30: either possible merger with HP (which is America West and stands for Hawaiian Pacific, who was a failed start-up I believe whose operating certificate was bought and used to start America West back in about 1983). or lights out

There hasn't been a major US airline to go out bust since Pan Am about 15 years ago, other than TWA which was bought by and absorbed by American a few years ago. The chances of US Air actually going out of business in the next year or two are slim to none, in my opinion. United and US Air are operating in Chapter 11, Delta and several other airlines are dangerously close to Chapter 11, but it is another matter to actually put a major legacy airline out of business.

Oh no..... My first trip is booked on US Air (using air miles, but still)... I'm coming from Toronto thru Charlotte in October and would die if they went out of business and I wasn't left with any options. :-(

Pan Am is actually still flying. Limited routes, but still in the air.

USAirways is still good. Big negotiations going on yesterday re: improving Phila. My contact say should be good for awhile, especially if merge with AmWest goes through. Plus, I jumped on the refund (voucher) for the reduced fare. Go for it!

might be so, and prob is, but they still fly the PanAm name & logo and who cares if it's the original or not. If they're going where you wanna go, when you wanna go. Can you tell the difference? I doubt it and neither can anyone else
