Corona steve, yes several on this thread including myself current are here
in San Pedro. Capt Jeff lives here much of the year. He's a great guy.

It is hard to get any facts on the bridge.

Corona what do mean including capt jeff you must say capt jeff for for sure ..but will be not down this nov ...do to my medical treatments but you will have very good company then ..and please do not take anything I say on this bridge plan like it is even close to truth.. I love to joke , and have fun never thinking any one would take this posts seriously like ??,ie e z pass, radar??? . especially things like this ..but new bridge one minute crossing or hand held ferry a maybe a 3 minute crossing will be lots of fun and adventure.... your stay will be super ....wishing you lots of living the dream days in sanpedro town, enjoy pardise........

Corona steve...There are a few franchises left for sale in the Belize HoCaye League. With the EZ pass lane on the bridge the fans from up north will have no problem filling the arena! Are you interested? Hey...Capt. Jeff, What medical treatments? I hope it's only "anglers elbow". AND...All of this bridge talk...should we hold a contest to name it when it's finished(if we live that long)?

Captjeff, this is for you, hope all is well, and Would like to not only meet you, but lots of croud, who use this site.
Belize has been on my mind for over 16 years, and finally got there in Feb of this year, and have been back 3 times since.
Have prop. and in about 2 years, will bus. and move full time there.
Have met lots of interesting persons each and every time have been there. The girls are wonderful, and freindly, and Belican will replace Corona.

Interesting dichotomy: those that know it takes forever(if ever) and those that are on States "time". Are the developers selling with promises of a bridge tommorrow?

Not to me, but would like bridge for future, and figured that most of resorts would want it also, easier to get supplies and more Belican to the North.
Do we know if parts of bridge have been seen in AC or Belize City
