Thank you to you all for keeping us updated... this is great. Govikes, and anyone else I meet on my next trip, I owe you a Lighthouse or beverage of choice!...jeez, this could get expensive... ok, you all share one!
Being from Florida and having gone thru 4 hurricanes last year I feel I know exactly what all are going thru over there. Prepare, "hunker-down"(became the word of the summer here last year)and Pray.......this is all you can do. Best of luck to all of you. Hopefully there will be less "Blue tarped roofs" there after the storm as still remain here in Florida from last year.
I hear ya SEV I still have a blue tarp on my roof.Just settled with the insurance company last week,NOW they are motivated to settle the "old" claims with Dennis hitting up in Pensicola..whats the sense of having insurance when you need an attorney to read your policy for all the loopholes they insert...
cindyb here on the Major's computer. We evaced to Houston not knowing how bad this might be. Just moved to SP and we had only been on island 9 days! What a start! Our container is in country, but we had not received it. We had nothing to get us through but a couple of flashlights.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you still on the island. Stay safe. Keep us posted.
