Glad to hear everyone seems to have made it thru the storm. After living in Florida almost my entire life one thing i have learned especially last year is that is better to be overly prepared than not enough. Keep those batteries in the fridge and bottled water, canned goods and peanut butter lasts almost forever so it's definately better to be prepared. So far we too have been rather lucky here in central Florida this year but I will always be ready to "hunker-down" the next time one comes near us.

I'd like to add my thanks to God for the safety of all the people I love on AC. Barb I talked to Su this morning. All is well and not a drop of rain.

Hardly any rain in San Igancio. Xunantunich was closed as the river was running too fast to get the ferry across but other than that a perfect day here in Cayo!

Boy, a person can't even go away for a couple of weeks without all hell breaking loose eek

I'm so glad to see that everyone and everything came through the storm intact. Nicely done.

Hi Gwennan! Thank you, my ankle really is a lot better in two days. I am thinking now I really just twisted it cause it hurts to move left of right but I can walk just fine, a little slower but I am not limping or anything!!! The other day I did not leave my condo cause I could not get from the bed to kitchen! I am shocked at what not walking for a day did for me! off to the pier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! smile

I'm happy to hear that you are feeling better. Not being mobile is tough, especially during a Hurricane scare! I twisted my ankle while there in April, it made diving a little more challenging, that's for sure. Thankfully, you are out and about, no more cabin fever for you!Enjoy the pier, I am jealous! I need to get back to SP!
