Uggghhh...here we go again. SIN, please quote where I blamed Sandy. The cops asked US, "how much money do you have in the house?" 1/2 of them wanted a bribe, and the other 1/2 wanted us to go to the station. 1/2 of them wanted my wife to stay at the house by herself, and the other 1/2 wanted her to go to the station. I agree with you on the OP statement. I bolded the 2nd half on the last post because I was misquoted, and wanted to point out the part that was left out. What should I apologize for? I have actually made apologies to other posters here when I misunderstood them, so I am OBVIOUSLY not avoiding any apologies. What do you think I am lying about here? One to grow on is right also, I have already agreed with that. What else ya got?

The offer of a bonus to bring in offenders is inviting criminal activity. Many jobs prohibit offering bonuses for people doing their jobs - mine is one of them: Underwriting loans. The more loans you approve the more money you get. hahaha

#8300 Do you realize how much you are trying to damage a very good and respectable guest house and tour company, because your family broke the law, and then you get upset because you couldn't bribe the police - I get you, about 3.5 of the 7 wanted to take the bribe according to you, but they didn't did they? I'll have to try this next time I go to Canada, and will complain with you when I can't bribe the police over there. You certainly owe Sandy and Willy a BIG apology. Next time, just book a room in jail; saves you the trouble. BTW, never realized cave tubing was a trip paddling upstream... strange.

I lived three doors from Brianna's for three years and I am a white guy. I found the area to be very peaceful and the neighbors became good friends and still are friends of mine today. Find it hard to beleive that these people couldn't get along with the neighbors??

8300 says: "SIN, please quote where I blamed Sandy."
Answer: "Topic: Brianna's Beach House NIGHTMARE!"
8300: You could have made exactly the same points about your drug dealing dimwittedness without even mentioning the name of the well-respected vacation house you were staying at.
But that WASN'T the point of your orginal post, was it?

Briannas beach house is an AWESOME place to stay!! I cant believe the nerve of mbirwaffle to blame Briannas beach house location for their stupitity! I also want to say that his accusations of the neighbours not liking tourists or white people is ludicris! They are an extremely friendly and helpful family that we felt very safe and comfertable with.(Who are you people anyway??) As far as wanting your money back...Sandy/Will are not responsible for your stupid actions. As a business owner I am totally on their side..I see people of your kind every once and awhile and as far as Iam aware no one wants your business. As far as the book with the missing pages...why so hung up on that? What did the pages that were left have to say?, anything positive?? Face it you are a person that blames and points the finger at everything and everyone when things dont go your way, especially when it involves MONEY!!! Sandy/ Will we love your place and your neighbours. looking forward to our stay with you again!

I have stayed at some hotels that I absolutely LOVED. Places where I spent an entire stay in complete bliss, and felt immense gratitude for the staff and owners for creating such a place. Those same places had (and probably still have)at least one HORRIBLE review available. That always seems odd to me.

I am the friend of the Central FL Girl who also stayed at BBH Oct. 2004 and several other times. I now consider the neighbors, you considered rude, as friends. These people have been very kind to me, my son and my parents. The first time I stayed at BBH I was with my son and the children accepted him right away & asked him to join them in "foot ball" soccer. Even though my son is not the best player, the children encouraged him, fished with him and the neighbors also took him out on their boat. We keep in contact and they have been very concerned about us, when we have been hit by hurricanes. Also, on the other side of BBH is Patajoes, where Butch was also very friendly and kind to us, telling us that if we needed anything just ask. While waiting on a water taxi at the dock, Butch noticed we had been waiting a while and called the taxi again and came out on the dock to tell us the boat was on the way. Yes, I was the one who got sick and finally in Belize found a doctor who knew how to help me. I had been to doctors for years in the US and they did nothing to help. A concerned maid from BBH actually went to get the doctor for me and he came to BBH. After suffering for years I have had no problem since using the medicine the doctor perscribed and continue to use. Sandy has also been extremely helpful to me and my son. She has proven to be a concerned and reliable vacation home owner. We had a problem which although Sandy did not need to be involved with, she went out of her way to help. I have not seen a problem with drugs, but I do not use them, would not encourage them or complain about someone going to jail, who had been involved in a drug deal. I could, as you can see, go on and on about the good points of the charming BBH and people of Belize. I now have several friends there and am currently building my own home. I have to say one more thing though, I "never" heard dogs barking at night and rarely during the day. I wonder how you treated the neighbors? As for me I'll be down on Monday and look forward to visiting with Sandy and Jackie & her family. There is no reason not to stay at BBH and every reason to stay there, location, friendly neighbors, beachfront and nice vendors who sell great banana bread and wonderful foods I'm not even sure what the names are, for very cheap! Sandy and Jackie I am sorry for the things this person said about you. See you soon! Also, Sandy here's a plug for your tours, they are great and we have been on several!!!!! K
