She went to Cat 2 and picked up 20+ mph overnight, still moving a little south of due west. Only plus is that she continues to move quite fast

Current graphics would indicate that weather will degrade rapidly this moning. Looks like at least one feeder band is way out front.

Anyone have current local conditions?

It has been upgraded to a cat.4 expecting to hit land tonight.

things looking pretty good here, nice strong north wind, that
we're hoping will distill the circulation of aunt Iris. we can take her
on the chin if we have to, but my hope is a milder storm hitting down
south of us.

from the "Weather Channel" ....140 MPH winds...moving west @ 18.....tracking to Belize Guatelmala border...it's a big bad hurricane....get out of the way !
