scrolled up, reread, and (as I did from the start) understand IRM, but still don't get where Pedro's thread about a new dive centre came from and where his staff have gone.... but have a feeling it's best left alone until I bump into Peter on his return.

The bottom line is that the two instructors were made an offer they felt they couldn't refuse and they've gone. They didn't say a word when I gave them each New Year bonuses of several hundred US$ - I wonder why? Quite an eye opener on human character - I hope they and their new boss will be very happy together.

BUT... apart from an inevitable temporary hiatus (because these guys waited until I was out of the country before they left), Protech will carry on as before. They implemented Protech standards, they didn't make them.

Good luck, Peter. I'm quite sure that you will continue to succeed with your business and this will be another small bump in the road of life. Although disappointing personally, professionally, you will continue to provide an excellent service.
