One thing very important, don't show up on the island and expect to find a room unless you've pre-booked. The island fills up on Easter weekend with tourists and Belizeans so rooms will be scarce. Best to start making calls and get yourself a reservation.

Mexico and the Latin community as a whole, always seem to travel during the Easter holiday. It seems that they are all shopping and spending money during this time.South Texas and Carribean destinations abound with these people..Maybe SP will be booked as well..Lets hope a lot of $$$ is made for the locals of SP.

This has strayed off the topic. JPAZ, listen to TQ about staying at Rubys or Pedro's Inn. Then you will have more $$ to go snorkling, and eating/drinking at some of the best places. The fun is in your meeting new people, and discovery of new things, sometimes thats free.
