Our choice would be Rendezvous. We love the boat ride, the excellent wine, and the atmosphere. It only seats 26 people and we like that. The food is out of this world good. We brought home a couple of bottles of their wine and our family loves it.
We have also enjoyed Casa Picasso and Capricorn but if we can only pick one, Rendezvous is it!

You mentioned a day visit for lunch at Espanto....is it possible to have dinner (evening) there and return to AC afterwards?

Also I took a look at the food and wine menus....but of course no pricing. Can you give me a ball park on food cost? I'm pretty hip on wine costs.....and they have a GREAT wine list!

I love Rojo's but only go up during daylight hours as I enjoy watching the changes in the beach. However, I believe the after dark journey would be lovely. I like how they have used carved bamboo to lifht the grounds.
Do they still offer a discount on the Island Ferry when you go there?

I would really recommend that you take her to a nice place MORE than one night. You did leave that as an option when you said "at least one night". If money is an issue, maybe only buy drinks and desert for one of these meals.

My list?
Absolutely, Casa Picasso. It's the best food and atmosphere, although the atmosphere is not the most fancy.
Also pick at least two of the three:
Capricorn, Rendezvous or Rojo Lounge

I guarantee, these will all be meals to remember.

$150US per person all inclusive excluding wine and champagne.

Not sure on dinner.
