What a thoughtful offer, but I just wanted to clarify. The e-collar listed in the wish list is actually a request for an Elizabethan collar which is one of those big plastic lampshade looking things, not an electric collar, which they have no use for. What would be fantastic if you really want to donate would be if you could sell the collar and maybe buy a few of the supplies with the money. Yakivet, in particular, has made an amazing offer to help get supplies to SAGA.

I spent Saturday at SAGA at the open day and they so desperately need help. So everyone here who has offered to help are truly heroes.

For anyone who lives on the island full or part time, please please please think about offering your time as volunteers are urgently required. They particularly need people who could come in out of hours and on weekends to clean cages, socialise animals, feed and give general care.

Will do...not sure if I can sell it on eBay before we leave but will at least send the proceeds down for y'all. It cost around $250 brand new so it should go for at least $150...I still have the original packaging.

I was kinda wondering what a vet's office would need an electronic collar....

You are an absolute star! I know they will be so grateful. When you come to the island, make sure you visit the clinic and shelter to see how hard their job is with little resources.

TannedBanana: I may be willing to buy the collar if you don't get your asking price on eBay. What make/model is it so that I can do some research to determine if it will fit my needs?
