I get a laugh at every one of these "Where's a good place to eat?" questions from the newbies. I think if you listed every single eating place on the small island you could find at least a dozen boarders who would profess they each are a wonderful place to eat. And as soon as someone writes of an unpleasant experience at a restaurant, those who advocate the place will rush to their defense...and then there's usually a food fight...etc. Congratulations to all who decided to only mention their pleasant experiences in this thread!

That said, my favorite fancy place to recommend to a newbie would be Capricorn and my favorite casual place would be Pepperoni's pizza and my favorite bar would be Crazy Canuck's...so, Cutie50, I hope you have a chance to try all the wonderful places that have been recommended and I suspect you're going to enjoy your culinary experience on the island.

True Spots, true!!! Quite frankly I could eat a
"sand"wich and could care less as long as I was in SP! Sigh....maybe after the first of the year! Hopefully for Reapers jump-a-thon!
I'm bringing the ice while Law holds wallets.

If I'm there PB (which I'm hoping I will be!) I'll be sure and have a cold one in hand waiting for you when your feet touch sand!

Just finished a take-out meal from Harry's- under the old Jade Garden. Jerk chicken and curry rice. BZ$10, more than I could eat and very tasty! Highly recommended!

Twenty years ago it was hard to find a good meal...now it is hard to find a bad one. My favorite resturant is Caliente's...home away from home.
