Both Tropic Air and Maya Air have the same schedule and the same rates to fly from International ot San Pedro. Does it matter which airline we choose?
Thanks in advance!!

Tropic. They appear more organized and professional to me. Makes me think same is true for all of the things I can't see or don't know about.

HI BETH! Tropic. They are also the closest counter when you walk around the corner and closest to the beach when you land on the island!!

govikes, if they take Maya they will practice walking a few steps which will help get them ready for their beach bar crawl later in their visit.

Man, you'd have to be in some bad shape not to be able to make the distance between the Tropic and Maya Island counters!

Tropics terminal is on the road back of Sunbreeze. Maya's terminal is on the other side of the airport runway . . so if you are walking . . it's a bit sweatier.

SS: True, but the airport is making(or was in July) a concerted effort to shuffle folks out the north exit. Certainly reduces the congestion on the street. Kinda funny to watch those who were just too damn important to follow directions.

I hear good and bad about both. It seems people just have their favorites. I hear "use this firm for travel" and "that firm for freight etc".
I will use both without prejudice. It matters not.

So glass which is it: You prefer Maya because the pilot was "alert". Or you prefer Tropic, because you almost lost it on Maya? By the way do you blow glass?

Seem it is all part of the adventure.
So who was it that said you have more chance of being killed crossing the road than flying?
Take a risk fly in a small plane! I know pilots from both airlines that get very high each evening, so it doesn't matter which airline, just take the risk.
It must be quite fun flying with a blood alcohol level around 150!

Beachboy, I knew I didnt like you. Now I know why as I know many Tropic pilots including their Chief Pilot. No drinking or smoking within 50' of the aircraft. Take that!

Does that include just across the road I have never taken the exact measurements. I suppose when the planes turn around it could just get to less than 50"!

Beachboy, you're going to lose a lot of business by critcizing the air services.

I am having a lark as usual so all calm down. I use both services and have no issues with either airline!

You must be seated in the first class section.

First Class is only one seat- just to the right of the pilot. You even have your own controls to yank on.
