Just curious. Would it be safe to believe that every Friday, whether it is this Friday, or next, or the next, but EVERY Friday, people from this board, as well as people just visiting AC could congregate at Pedro's and meet eachother? Would it be possible to maybe have name tags or some other way to identify board members, so we can finally put faces to names? I would happily provide the tags, place them on the tables, or at the entryway, and what fun it would be to be able to recognize and be recognized by our board names or faces. Just an idea...We won't be there until February, and I'll bring the name tags...

We are trying for the second week thru the end of the month. Not sure, yet, tho. Airfare is pricey now, and can't decide whether to use air miles or save them for later....Anyhow, would love to meet you, Nova, and everyone else who will be around San Pedro in Feb. I know Reaper will be there, with his band of air-gypsies, so am sure a good time will be had by all..but would still love to be able to put faces to names.
Law, you wouldn't want to be anonymous. Your followers need to know who they are following. To spread petals at your feet, to bring you grapes and fan you with palms...to freshen your drinks....they need to know who to bestow all of their adulation's upon.

Actually I was referring to the ever-elusive, semi-anonymous Mr. Thornton. I'm far from anonyomous, too much of a people person. I don't know about all that follower/petal/grape stuff, but I have met some wonderful people through this board and have enjoyed a Belikin with more than one or two. I'm sure we'll meet, perhaps your opinion will change. Happy anticipating!

Law, my opinion of you isn't a negative one. Our banters are inspiring, and serve a great purpose, whether we end up agreeing or not. We are both strong women, and can learn from eachother as we have traveled different roads in our lifetimes. I am awed by your kindness towards others, your tenacity to correct an unjust, and your ability to put someone in their place without resorting to ugliness. I think you and I are very much alike in many ways, and that's why we sometimes go "up against" eachother, for whatever the cause. I would love to meet you, share stories and have a belikin or two. Please, wear a name tag so those of us who haven't met you would have a chance to. I am glad you wouldn't be anonymous. As for Mr. Thornton, I would hope he would come out of hiding. He could wear a mustache and nose and glasses if he didn't want anyone to recognize him, but I need the name tag so I can place the face...however distorted he wants it to be.

Sun&sand, I tried to pm you last night, but it said that your message box is full. February flights out of Raleigh and Greensboro are very reasonable right now...just happened yesterday. We are finally booked after checking fares most everyday! 75 days to anxiously wait!
