Coolbum, I am an accomplished cook and know what taste differences are. I've tried the beef at several San Pedro restaurants and never had any that I liked, so I doubt the problem is with the handling and prep.
I don't know why you would be so sensitive about the fact that Belizean beef tastes different and Americans in general don't care for the taste. I agree, I'm not looking for what I can get at home when I go on vacation, I don't come to Belize for the beef - I stick to the seafood, which beats anything I can get at home in terms of quality for price, and I live near the ocean.

Krazy before you start laffing at anybody ask yourself this....WHY THE HELL SHOULD anyone KNOW THE NAME OF YOUR STUPID DOG? I am fairly new to this forum (not to Belize) so my lack of knowledge regarding your Korean BBQ on four legs can be justified. WOW... all of this over a question on where to take a large group for dinner. business as usual for this board(bored) group. as to places we've gone with a large party, blue water, carumba, jambel's and elvi's.

It was funny, that's all, that you did not know of Karmin as nearly everyone on the board (and island) seems to since I am in love with her and talk about her often including some posts when she was sick. no biggy. Hope I have given you an explanation as to who she is now.

Karmin is not korean, she is american. Las Vegan to be 100% accurate.

The Korean reference was in regards to their enjoyment of bbq'd dog and not to your dog's country of origin. I used to live in Korea and have dined on spike, fluffy, poopsie, killer, sparky etc...cannot say that I reached great culinary heights but I certainly endeared myself to the locals that I had to work with.

Perhaps K you should go back and read what you posted that came across as truly rude and presumptive.

Coolb, I was joking with the korean remark saying she is las vegan. As far as my comment coming across rude nad preseumptive it was not intended in this manor so I will say I am sorry to you that it did.
