Thought for the day:
When does one cross the line from newbie to regular??? A newbie breaks the rules because in their enthusiastic trip planning, intoxicating trip reports, etc. - they don't realize there are rules...thanks for your crash coarse in board rules 101!!!

Ken & Lynne... welcome to the wonderful and exciting world of regulars... I think a very good and quite precise method of judging whether or not you are a newbie or a regular is... well who cares.... just post.

zeke, baby, i wish i was going too. i still keep asking frank every night, but, alas...next year.
and guys, what ever happened to the 1st amendment? freedom of speech? last i checked this was still a free country.
that said, lets keep the posts where they belong. we wouldn't want to be wasting anybody's precious time, would we?

As for when one becomes a regular and "upgraded" from a newbie, is basically up to you I guess. At one time we all had titles. After you posted so many times, your title changed. We all knew who was new and who wasn't instantly. I thought it was helpful. Now all we get is a dot. (Look under your name / ID when you post) Not sure why that changed, but it was fun to watch the newbies progress over time and become seasoned veterans......

The thought just ocurred to me that if we all lived in Belize we wouldn't have to worry about the 1st Amendment, or the Declaration of Independence, or nudity in public either! lol

I for one agree with Zeke, and not wanting to be a bandersnatch myself I am further appreciative of "higher" cerebral level of communication available on this board.
Hmmmmm. Friday before Memorial Day weekend. Think I'll leave the mentational gymnastics to the rest of you for the day, and go home and entertain house guests. Bombs away!
