KathyMLT - I'm getting in later than you on the 21st, so I'll be the non-blonde in the black tshirt at the bar, if I don't crash by 7!

Did just buy a turquiose bikini in St Barth, but not sure I'll have the guts to wear it! How many sit-ups can I do in the next 18 days???

As a fellow, former Negril visitor - I bet you know all the spots! cool

Evening, Don't you know it's a law that you have to stay up as late as possible drinking rum punches the first night you arrive in AC ; ).
Yup, been to Negril 10 times in a 3 1/2 year period. Was time to move on to another place. I tend to keep going back to places I like but there are other to be explored so it's difficult.

Still 32 days here... !!! My white British skin needs to start at the tanning salon pretty soon so I don't totally blind anyone when I get there, and don't fry my first time in the sun! This casper doesn't really tan though... sucks!! All my friends do so I always stand out in the photos in my nice shade of pink! Thank god they invented that sunless tanning stuff :-))

KathyMLT - one rum punch after that day of travel (sunrise at Tikal, tour, flights back to AC) and I'll be down for the night! two and it won't be pretty! I'm a lightweight when it comes to alcohol...

Spent a lot of time in Negril in the 80s, went back in '01 for the first time in 10 years - hardly recognized the place. The West End is similar (except for roadwork, and a few huge entertainment places) but the roundabout could be Cancun, and Bloody Bay was taken over by the All Inclusives.

Oh,Evening,,,,you better stay away from the security people then unless you can fake it and say you've had more than 1 rum punch ; ). I'm usually beat by the time I get there but this time my flight is only a couple hours instead of the usual 7 -10 so I'm really looking forward to it....Only 19 more for me too!!!!!! YEAH.
Yes, the roundabout in Negril has grown. It's the one thing I hope that doesn't happen in San Pedro.....even though I really understand that it needs to be done and why I was disappointed to hear they were going to pave more of the road in San Pedro...It just takes away from the charm, but I can see where it's really hard on the vehicles cuz the pot holes can become pretty deep. I was horribly disappointed to see a Burger King go up there and then a chicken place across the street. At least the west end has stayed pretty close to the same but only because there isn't much room to build up there unless you go way out past Whoopies. I used to go there every 3 or 4 months and it seems that something new sprang up every time...It's been over a year since I've been there now and I fear to see what has been built since then...but I'm hooked on AC now so it's hard to say how long it will be before I go back to Jamaica ; )

Kathy- didn't realize you'd been there so recently. The Burger King was just a construction site when I was there 2 years ago.

I stopped going to Negril for the same reason - wanted to check out other islands.

All this Negril talk is making me hungry for DeBuss jerk!

you 19 day and 20 day people make me sick smile

28 for me.

Geez, I keep trying to pretend my Heini is a Beliken and it's not going over well. Listening to my Gringo in Belize CD helps some. Found $20 Belize in my suitcase and thought it must be good luck. That's 2 rum punches at Jet's bar. Ok, I'm rambling, geeze I wish I was there already. :p :p :p
